Therefore, Astra Infra is consistently committed to providing a safe and comfortable journey through various safety initiatives. One of the main pillars of Astra Infra's safety campaign is the regular implementation of the 3Es (Engineering, Education, and Enforcement). What are they? Let's learn!

1. Engineering

   Focuses on providing physical facilities that support safety on toll roads. Through various innovations, Astra Infra ensures that every toll road section meets high safety standards, from the installation of wire ropes, rumble dots, and "avoid rear-end collision" warning signs to speed reducer markings and warning lights that help increase driver awareness. This commitment to safety is also demonstrated at rest areas by providing tire check facilities and various other comprehensive facilities, so road users can rest more comfortably and safely before continuing their journey.

2. Education

   Safety will not be achieved without orderly behavior from every individual. Therefore, Astra Infra continues to foster a culture of safety among officers and road users through various educational and ongoing activities. Astra Infra consistently promotes safety through virtual workshops, social media campaigns, radio broadcasts, banners, and advisory messages displayed on variable message signs (VMS) along toll roads. Furthermore, education on safe driving, fatigue management (recommended rest breaks every four hours of driving), and monitoring of officer safety procedures demonstrate Astra Infra's commitment to building collective awareness of the importance of safe driving on toll roads.

3. Enforcement

   Safety must also be maintained through discipline and compliance with regulations. Therefore, Astra Infra collaborates with relevant stakeholders in various routine operations, such as enforcement of speed limit violations and Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) operations, to ensure road users comply with applicable driving regulations. These measures not only ensure the safety of toll road users but also help reduce the risk of accidents caused by traffic violations.
