World Environment Day: Astra Infra Strengthens Its Commitment to the Environment

Jakarta, June 5, 2026 – Commemorating World Environment Day and in line with Astra 2030

Sustainability Aspirations, Astra Infra affirms its commitment to sustainability by continuing to prioritize environmental aspects as one of the ESG pillars in supporting green infrastructure. This commitment is realized through the integration of environmental aspects into operational management and the development of a greener and more sustainable business.

"Through the Astra Infra ESG Roadmap 2030, we consistently strive to support emission reductions, increase resource efficiency, and maintain environmental sustainability in our business operations," said Beny Priyatna Kusumah, Head of Sustainability Management at Astra Infra.

The use of renewable energy is one of the focuses of ESG implementation in Astra Infra's operational environment through the use of B40 biofuel, solar panel installation, and renewable energy certification. Throughout 2025, Astra Infra successfully obtained 6,376 GigaJoules or 18.82% of the total renewable energy used. These various efforts contributed to a 52.16% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (tCO2e) compared to the 2019 baseline, with a total emission volume of 4,539 tCO2e in 2025.

The same commitment is also applied to water and solid waste management throughout Astra Infra's operational areas. By 2025, water usage intensity was successfully reduced by 61.88% compared to 2019, while 218 tons or 59.8% of solid waste was successfully processed through the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle initiative. Environmental concern is also directly demonstrated through the planting of a total of 258,644 trees by 2025, spread around Astra Infra's toll roads. This initiative was further strengthened through a program to convert visitors into plant seeds at the Astra Infra Sustainability Fest 2025, attended by approximately 1,500 visitors.

Astra Infra continues to strengthen various sustainability initiatives to minimize negative impacts on the environment while contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
