Astra Infra Is Ready to Celebrate the Joy of Togetherness During Eid al-Fitr 2026

Jakarta, March 9, 2026 – The Eid homecoming journey is not merely about reaching a destination, but also about enjoying the trip itself as a moment to strengthen togetherness and create beautiful memories along the way. Welcoming the 1447 H Eid holiday period, ASTRA Infra, as a provider of public infrastructure services particularly toll roads, is ready to serve travelers and create a safe and comfortable journey, ensuring that every moment of togetherness can be experienced from the beginning of the trip until arriving at their hometowns.

ASTRA Infra has made various preparations in anticipation of the 6.8 million vehicles predicted to pass through ASTRA Infra toll roads during the 2026 Eid homecoming and return flow period. This figure represents an increase of approximately 2.1 percent compared to the traffic volume during the same period in 2025. Various readiness measures and efforts have been undertaken, including road infrastructure preparedness, facilities and infrastructure readiness, personnel preparedness, rest area readiness, as well as coordination efforts to anticipate extreme weather conditions and congestion at certain locations.

Group Chief Executive Officer of ASTRA Infra, Firman Yosafat Siregar, conveyed ASTRA Infra’s commitment to providing the best service during the 2026 Eid period, stating, “ASTRA Infra consistently prioritizes the safety, comfort, and security of toll road users so they can fully enjoy the beauty of togetherness during this year’s Eid homecoming and holiday season. Various maintenance efforts and service improvements have been carried out to prepare for the upcoming Eid traffic flow. Our personnel, who continuously coordinate with all relevant authorities, are also ready to provide 24-hour assistance for road users in need.”

In addition to completing the addition of third lanes on several sections of the Tangerang–Merak and Cikopo–Palimanan Toll Roads since last year, ASTRA Infra is also preparing road infrastructure through pavement maintenance works targeted to be completed no later than 10 days before Eid. To anticipate extreme weather conditions, ASTRA Infra routinely cleans drainage systems to prevent flooding, reinforces several slope areas to mitigate landslides, installs movable concrete barriers (MCB) and geobags to prevent water overflow onto road surfaces, and prepares pumps at flood-prone locations. Furthermore, all road signage is ensured to be in good condition to support the safety and comfort of road users.

In terms of rest area readiness, ASTRA Infra ensures the availability of gas stations, EV charging stations, toilets, prayer rooms, parking areas, and various culinary options. ASTRA Infra has also deployed more than 800 personnel supported by over 90 toll road operational vehicles consisting of patrol cars, tow trucks, rescue vehicles, and ambulances. In addition, to ensure the safety and smooth traffic flow for toll road users, ASTRA Infra has prepared more than 500 integrated CCTV units supported by 7 traffic counter units and a 24-hour communication center service. To anticipate traffic congestion, ASTRA Infra is coordinating with the police regarding the implementation of traffic engineering measures, including one-way traffic systems and contra flow arrangements.
