Jakarta, February 10, 2026 – In line with Astra’s 2030 Sustainability Aspirations, ASTRA Infra remains committed to supporting sustainable living through various community development and environmental preservation programs. This commitment was reflected through the “1 Visitor = 1 Tree Planted” initiative at the ASTRA Infra Sustainability Fest 2025, themed “See In Us – Disabled & Neurodiverse: A Force for Climate Action,” held on December 4–6, 2025. Through this initiative, ASTRA Infra pledged to convert every visitor attendance into one tree seedling to be planted around toll roads managed by ASTRA Infra.
ASTRA Infra Sustainability Fest is part of the company’s initiative focused on empowering disabled and neurodiverse communities through inclusive art. In collaboration with various disabled and neurodiverse communities, the event featured exhibitions and art installations, inspiring talk sessions and workshops, as well as talent competitions showcasing the abilities of disabled and neurodiverse individuals. Visitors also had the opportunity to purchase products created by these communities throughout the event.
“We would like to thank the 1,500 visitors whose presence and contributions made ASTRA Infra Sustainability Fest 2025 a truly inclusive platform for collaboration with disabled and neurodiverse communities. The conversion into 1,500 tree seedlings proves that collective care can create meaningful and sustainable environmental impact,” said ASTRA Infra Group Chief Executive Officer, Firman Yosafat Siregar during the symbolic planting ceremony of 1,500 tree seedlings at Resta Pendopo KM 456 on February 10, 2026.
The symbolic planting was carried out by ASTRA Infra Director in Charge, Santosa, ASTRA Infra Group Chief Executive Officer Firman Yosafat Siregar, ASTRA Infra Group Chief Operating Officer Billy Perkasa Kadar, ASTRA Infra Group Chief Financial Officer Halim Wahjana, and ASTRA Infra Group Chief Technical Officer Rinaldi.
This initiative is part of ASTRA Infra’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions around its toll road areas. The selected seedlings focused on high carbon-absorption tree species suitable for toll road operational areas, including Matoa, Jackfruit, Asam Kandis, Puspa, and Leda trees, in line with the 2015 Technical Guidelines issued by Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry. All seedlings had an initial height of approximately ±1.5 meters and are expected to provide long-term ecological benefits.
Through these sustainability initiatives, ASTRA Infra reaffirms its commitment to prioritizing sustainability, inclusivity, and collaboration across all aspects of its operations, ensuring the company’s presence contributes positively to sustainable social and environmental development.
